T-Rex

Hi there! My name is T-Rex, and I'm looking for my forever home! I was born outside and lived under a shed for the first 5-6 weeks of my life with my mama and 3 siblings, but thankfully the nice lady that lived there called CARE because inside life is so much better! Now I have plenty of food, soft blankets to lay on, a cat tree to climb, toys, and, thankfully, air conditioning! It was hot out there. I'm very smart so obviously I knew how to use the litter box right away, and I'm teaching my siblings how to use the scratcher on the cat tree to keep my nails nice and tidy. When I first moved inside, I told my foster parents that I'm a independent kitty and don't need humans. But... well... I really like humans now!! I get treats when I catch the string toy, they bring me that delicious wet food every day, and I've decided that they give really nice pets. I especially like butt scratches. So I guess people aren't that bad after all! It might take a little while for me to trust my future family, but once I know I'm safe I will be an excellent companion. I am looking for a home with another young kitty to play with - I REALLY like to play - a LOT! Or even better, I could get adopted with one of my siblings (check out the profiles for Raptor, Indo, or Ptery)!  I don't really want to be the only kitty in the house, since I have so much energy and am still learning important kitty socialization skills. They say "single kitten syndrome" is a real thing. But I like all the other cats I've met so far! The dog in my foster home kinda scares me, but as long as I can escape back into my room under the kitty gate I do just fine. 

I'm still too little to be neutered, but when I'm adopted CARE said they'll take care of my surgery as soon as I'm big enough at 4 -6 months of age.! I was very brave at the vet's office and got my vaccinations and microchip, and I tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Now I'm ready to find my fur-ever family!
