Stella

Stella, aka “momma”, would visit from the woods behind a house off a busy street until one day she visited with babies.  A neighbor found homes for 3 of the 5 babies and trapped her and the last 2. We didn’t know what to do, so until we could figure out something, they just stayed in an unoccupied room.  Happy that Stella and her last 2 babies had a safe place and regular meals. We Were able to find one of the kittens a home. But we noticed her belly getting bigger. Was it the food? She Is highly food motivated. Well we found out on July 4th, between the storm and the fireworks. She was already pregnant with another litter. 5 more babies.

Stella, is such a sweet momma. Like I said, she loves her treats but she also loves love.  She is a little fearful of strangers, but give her some treats and you’re now her best friend.  She doesn’t like to be held, but you can love her all day.
