Pepper Moon came into rescue under less-than-ideal circumstances. Her previous owners, who got her as a kitten, lost interest in her once she grew up. She found herself relocated to a chicken coop with her six newborn kittens. Thankfully, CARE stepped in, rescuing Pepper Moon and her babies when the kittens were just four days old.

In her foster home, Pepper Moon finally experienced the warmth, safety, and good food she deserved. Despite developing gastrointestinal issues and losing her appetite, she remained a devoted young, one year old mother, prioritizing her kittens’ well-being above all else. With the right medication and care, Pepper Moon recovered, never losing her gentle spirit even during the toughest times.Pepper Moon’s nurturing nature ensured that her kittens grew up healthy and strong. Now, she’s ready to find her own loving home where she can be cherished and cared for as she deserves.

Pepper Moon is currently living in foster care with one of her kittens, Capri, whom she loves and cuddles with every day. There is an adoption fee discount running through 1/31/25 for $200 for 2 kitties, saving you $100.
