Hamilton

Hamilton (nicknames: Hammy, Bubba, Sir Pantaloons) is a big, fluffy dude with the singular aim of having his head petted 24/7. Though shy at first, once he warms up to you, he will let you know he is available for petting by flopping himself as close to you as possible or headbutting your arm. He is not shy about showing his appreciation; his big ol' paws start making big ol' biscuits as soon as he sees your hand coming near him. He has mastered the soulful gaze and isn't afraid to use it to get more petting time, and if you happen to stop petting him he'll politely tap your arm as a helpful reminder of what you should be doing. 

When Hamilton hears noises but can't see what's causing them (for example, someone with heavy feet walking around in a room next to or above him), he can get nervous and may hide from the noise; he would do best in a relatively calm household, likely without younger/active children. Once he sees what all the fuss was about he'll come out of hiding, especially if he sees the noisemaker is someone who might pet his head!
