Cheddar

Cheddar came to CARE with his two cheesy brothers, Halloumi and Colby Jack. Cheddar is the most outgoing of the bunch. On his first day with his foster family, he came right out of the carrier and was happy to be held and instantly started making biscuits and purring. He's a fan of being held on his back and making air biscuits - just look at his profile picture!  He loves to be held and pet and is quick to tell you how much he loves it with some purrs!

Cheddar is a big fan of his brother and loves to spend an afternoon basking in the sun in the cat hammock with or Colby. When the boys aren't snoozing, they're using their new found energy to romp and play together. Cheddar would love to go to a home with Colby. 

Cheddar has also met our very-cat-friendly dog and did well. He hissed at first, but quickly became comfortable. After a few minutes, he bravely walked right up and sniffed the dog's face! He'd be happy if he had a home with a cat-saavy, friendly dog!

He has not been kid tested, but given his outgoing personality, he would do good in a home with or without kids, so long as all family members were gentle, and patient!
