Aja *ADOPTION PENDING!

Hi.  I’m Aja and I am special because I have a crooked tail!  The last inch of it is bent – no fracture, I was born this way.  I think it's normal, but when I run, I curl my tail under like a little monkey.

I love to play!  Crinkle balls are my favorite things to play with and my foster mom says I can take one with me when I find my forever home.  I carry one around in my mouth, stopping every once in a while to bat it around and chase it.

Another thing I like to do is to carry socks around the house. I find them in bedrooms and bring them downstairs to play with them.  I also love watching tv with the family!

I pretend to be independent, but cry sometimes if I can’t find a person, then run to them purring and rubbing against their legs when they respond.  And please give me a good face rub.

Don't be surprised if I'm there to meet you at the door, purr in full gear!  And if I find you sitting in your favorite chair, I will probably jump up and join you, and maybe give you some kitty kisses.

I get along great with other cats and dogs I have met, and I am pretty tolerant and gentle, so I would be fine with kids. 

They tell me I have a congenital problem with my knee, but it doesn’t slow me down one bit.  I was having treatments and things are getting better, but I may need a further assessment down the line.  Ask your adoption coordinator for more information.

I think I am pretty purr-fect but come meet me and judge for yourself!  I'll bring my crinkle ball.
