Petunia

Petunia, or "mama" as we called her once we realized she was raising 5 kittens under a neighbor's shed, began to visit our back deck several months ago looking for a snack. Initially she was incredibly skittish, but quickly developed a fondness for us, so much so, that on Mother's Day morning, we awoke to find that she had brought her 5 kittens to our deck! Since this time, she has become the most loving kitty we have ever known, trusting us even after moving her kittens into our house for fostering and even after spaying her! She is truly amazing in every way!!!

She loves to be held, snuggling with you, playing with you and her toys, but her favorite thing, hands down, is to spend time getting LOTS of face rubs while she dances around your lap. 

She has shown excitement and interest when one of our house cats came into her room, so she may enjoy other cat companions, but she truly enjoys the human company of all who visit her! We do not have dogs, so not sure how she would react. What we do know is that she has a beautiful soul and an incredible amount of attention and love to give!!!
