Be A Foster – SAVE A LIFE
Fostering can be very rewarding and is a vital part of CARE’s mission of rescuing abandoned and homeless cats and kittens. As a foster you will be given training and assigned a mentor. CARE pays all cat expenses. You provide a loving home. Learn more about becoming a foster by submitting an online interest form below. (Fosters must be at least 21 years of age)

Fundraising
Join our fundraising team and plan events, work on grants, coordinate donations, and engage our donors. You can run or help out with one event or get involved with various events or fundraisers.
Young Volunteers
Are you a young animal lover and want to be a part of rescue? Plan a donation drive in your neighborhood or school to help feed rescued cats and kittens! (Needed items are listed under our wish list and on our Amazon and Chewy page) Or, get together with your friends or scout troop and make toys for the rescue cats and kittens to play with.
Mailings and Newsletters
Help with periodic newsletters and fund solicitation mailings. Got a creative side? Work on creating educational materials and connecting with our supporters creating our email and paper newsletters.
Foster Coordinator
Welcome and mentor fosters. Oversee coordination of foster cat and kitten placement in foster homes.
Adoption Events Coordinator
Coordinate set up for adoption events. Ongoing coordination at various locations and arranging fosters to attend events. Research other events suitable for CARE to engage with the community.
Social Media
Create content for CARE’s Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube sites. Use your creativity and social media experiences to help homeless felines get adopted and educate the public!
Website management
Update information and coordinate content on wordpress platform. Troubleshoot issues and keep up to date.
Data Input
Volunteer from home and help fosters with cat data entry in Petstablished, our shelter management program.
