Roxie is a beautiful brown and white Turkish Angora mix who was saved from the pound with her three 5-week old kittens as well as three 3-week old orphaned kittens that she had taken on as her own. Roxie is strikingly beautiful with a soft, gentle face. She is friendly and easygoing. She loves attention and will roll around and let you rub her belly. She loves to come up next to her foster mom in the morning and have her chin scratched. Roxie gets along well with dogs and other cats, but would probably be quite happy to be an only cat. Roxie has FIV, but she is very healthy and happy and likely to live a long, normal life.

Additional note about FIV: FIV cats can live with other non-FIV cats, as it can only be transmitted through deep bite wounds, and it can't be transmitted to dogs or people. FIV cats do not require any special treatment or care. With regular veterinary care and monitoring of their health (which should be done for every cat) FIV cats live perfectly long, normal lives!
