ADOPTED!!!  Zack — My story is one that is becoming ever so common.  I was a dumpster kitty  A good samaritian was heading for his apartment complex trash dumpster one night back in the late summer, and he noticed this tiny kitten (me) jumping out of the trash dumpster as he approached.  I guess I looked so very tiny and helpless, so he brought me some hotdogs that he had in his fridge, and I gobbled them up.  Of course I wouldn’t let him get anywhere near me, but he started feeding me every night and making sure I had water.  After several weeks, I eventually let him pet me.  I started to let him pick me up and hold and pet me for extended periods of time.  I finally followed him back to his front door one night and rarely left the house.  Unfortunately my good samaritian’s roomey was very allergic to kitties so I had to find a new foster.  I am currently in a home with other kitties and have my good buddy Kaydyn to play with.  I am a sweet little guy about 5 months old sporting a beautiful soft gray coat.  I am still a bit shy but am really getting to like this good life.  I am very playful and can entertain myself for hours with any toy.  I would love to have some patient person see my potential as a wonderful companion.  Are you up for the challenge of winning my heart?

Mindy – I used to be named Angel by my owner before my last owner.  Janet has been my foster mom before.  This last time I was adopted to a senior citizen who knew I am the “cat’s meow” and begged and begged to be allowed to have me as her only companion.  I loved that time in my life!  My sweetheart mom either went into a nursing home or died; no one will tell me the whole truth because they think it will hurt me too much. So, just after Christmas I was given to foster mom Janet and am loving her kindness toward me.  I even get to sleep with her sometimes.  I am a Siamese Mix with the crystal clear blue eyes (not deaf) of the Siamese and the coloration of a
Siamese probably mixed with some tabby.  HOWEVER, I have a small orange spot on my face which makes me probably ONE OF A KIND!  I am about 5 years YOUNG.  If I can be the only cat, I would love it; if there is another cat or a dog, I will adjust.  In case you are unsure, I am a girl (spayed).  At Petsmart last weekend I was the center of all attention by everyone who passed by the cats.  The only person who wanted me was only 16 and her dad said NO CATS, WE HAVE A DOG.

Trace is 1 year old who was left behind when owners moved. He was being  beaten up by some neighborhood cats so some nice neighbors took him in and  called C.A.R.E. He is very sweet, likes to have his tummy rubbed and loves catnip.

Lady is a very affection totally black girl who is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old.  She was found with her 7 kittens near River Road last June.  She was the best mother ever and still tries to mother her foster brother and sisters.  She is affectionate to her foster family but still shy at first.  She loves to sit next to you when you are in the room.  Head and back stroking are her preferred activities and she loves to gaze out the window.  She has lots of energy to play and LOVES treats.

ADOPTED!!!  Hi, my name is Kaydn and I am a super sweet little 11 week old male kitten.  I had been adopted as a tiny kitten by an elderly person that soon realized that we were not a good fit.  I was removed from her house and placed in a home with 3 very small boys, several dogs and cats and feared for my life.  I was once again removed to be placed in foster care for my own safety.  I finally feel safe and am free to move around at will with no fear of getting trambled.  As I mentioned earlier I am a total lovebug.  I cuddle everynight with my foster mommy when we go to bed.  I  am lucky to have several playmates (all quite a bit bigger than me) that I can play with, however I am quite content to amuse myself with toys.  I get along with all kitties and would love to now have my own home with another cat so I will have someone to play with.  Is there room in you or your cat’s life for a loveable little guy like me?  I think I could be the perfect match.

ADOPTED!!!  Cosmo – I am a 6 year old very laid back gentleman.  I used to have a buddy cat named ChooChoo but he has been adopted.  My human mom and family could no longer keep us, so CARE took us in.  This photo DOES NOT SHOW MY LONG FUR!  It was all stuck down with static electricity, I think.  My favorite thing in the world is running water or even the water bowl.  I can play by the hour with any form of water (but not urine).  You should see me bend upside down to get the faucet water into my mouth. 

This is Bella, a gorgeous 8 year old Maine Coon with the most beautiful eyes imaginable.  We call her Liz Taylor because (1) she is perfectly gorgous and (2) she is definitely a feline diva.  Bella lost her human companion in December and she has not yet regained her happiness.  She was the only cat and is not happy in her foster home with four other cats even though she has her own room.  Her sweet personality has not yet returned and she needs to be in her own home with a caring, understanding person who will give her time to regain her comfort zone.  Healthy and spayed, Bella has perfect household manners and lived in a home filled with antiques.

ADOPTED!!!  George (previously Little George) is now 7 months old and still the character he has always been.  He is adventurous, energetic, endearing and never boring.   Geroge was found wandering as a kitten with a flea collar almost embedded in his neck.  The flea collar was removed, and this skinny, frightened little kitten began to eat and enjoy being part of a family of people and other cats.  He loves other cats and would rather wrestle than eat.  He also likes dogs and tries to entice them into a game of chase.  George is into everything and he will get into your heart.  He goes from full speed to a purring furball in your arms and he loves to sleep at the foot of the bed.  He has handsome grey/brown tabby stripes and spots and dark golden eyes.  Healthy and neutered, George is ready to enjoy his very own family and entertain you.
